Lynchetts is a townhouse in the heart of Bradford on Avon, an ancient town within easy reach of Bath. Providing Bed & Breakfast accommodation, we are fortunate in being very close to all the town facilities yet having private, off road parking for guests. Lynchetts has an extensive garden which offers spectacular views across the town. Guests are welcome to use the Georgian summer house at the top of the garden or to play croquet on the lawn.

Lynchetts has an intriguing history. Built in 1785, the house incorporates buildings from the 1600s, creating an unusual mix of beamed, cottage style rooms and Georgian, high ceilinged reception rooms. The house was requisitioned during the Second World War, when it became the temporary home of the famous Harrison Chronometers, which were moved for safekeeping from the Royal Observatory in Greenwich.
